Our mission is to ensure that every person can navigate the Internet in their own language.
The Coalition on Digital Impact (CODI) is an independent, global alliance of like-minded organizations founded to empower communities to access and navigate the Internet in their native languages, ensuring meaningful online participation for every linguistic group.
Despite the existence of roughly 7,100 languages and dialects worldwide and an online population of 5.35 billion, only about ten languages dominate the Internet.
The Coalition on Digital Impact works with policymakers, industry, and nonprofits to:
Reduce barriers to Internet access by addressing language, literacy, and cultural sensitives
Enable Universal Acceptance of all domains and scripts to build for the future of the web
Advance policies that promote access to the digital world
